sadec Posted December 22, 2004 Share Posted December 22, 2004 i bought 2 pieces of 512 MB ram from kingston with exact same model ddr 400 but not come as a pair and tried to set them up like a dual chanel. but my computer kept reboot after i put them in. so my question is do i need to buy a K2 or a twin come as a pair to set up like a dual chanel? or any way to force these 2 pieces( not come with a pair ) to work like a dual chanel? i tested these with memtest with 0 errors . so i know they are good and i put them individual in my computer it works good too. they did not work when i set them up like a dual. any help or advices would be greatly appreciated! my mother board is asus p4p800 deluxe which supports dual chanel.
