MADmanOne
Hello, I have problems when using (color) profiles with my K95 RGB and K65 RGB connected at the same time (yes, I use two keyboards). They get detected by OS and CUE without any problems and I can type text on both at the same time, but I cannot assign different profiles to them. If I assign a profile to one, the other one goes dark or is only showing a rainbow effect. Since they have separate entries in the CUE Software, I was also assuming, I can control them separately and assign different colors to them. But at the moment it seems to me that the CUE Software can only control one keyboard and have to disable the profile for the other one in the meantime. Can somebody tell me what I am doing wrong or at least confirm, that I am expecting too much from the CUE software at the moment ? I would really appreciate any idea. Thanks in advance, MADmanOne
Inheritance
no your not doing anything wrong. thats how CUE is set up atm. Every device must be on the same profile. but they can use different modes with in the profile.
terabyte
If you have profile A setup in a certain way for K65 and profile B setup in another way for K95 you basically need to merge them. As zheren above mention all devices available in CUE are always on the same profile. So either move your configuration from profile B to A for the K95, or do the opposite from A to B for the K65. MADmanOne
Thank you both for your quick response, that is indeed the solution for my problem. What a relief, now its working really fine :) I simply was not expecting that it works that way but luckily thats no problem for my plans ;). I merged the modes now from both profiles into one and everything looks great. Thank you again, that was really really helpful :)
terabyte
You're welcome :): Cue is a bit difficult to understand initially but once you start playing with it for a little while you get the hang of it fast.
MADmanOne
hehe you are correct. I bought my K95 RGB over a year ago, so I already gained some experience with Cue (at least for my purposes ;)). But today I bought an K65 RGB to optimize my Elite Dangerous "Cockpit" and suddenly nothing was working the way I had planned. So I got really confused and my plans seem to vanish before my eyes until you both came up with the solution. Now I was able to combine my K95 profile with a nice one for the K65 I found in the profile thread. Perfect, thanks again :)
