Drax5
I just bought a new MSI K8N NEO2 board and I used my 2 sticks of twinx 3200 from my old machine. I cannot get the ram to post. The diagnostic led's point to ram not initializing, saying it is damaged. I have reseated with no luck. I put in a stick of pc2700 and it boots. I tried putting the corsair back in the old intel board and it will not boot. I bought the sticks from newegg. Should I send it back to them? I purchased the sticks in Feb. of this year. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 22, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 22, 2004 If the system will not post, I would try the modules in another system if you can. But it would be very ulikely that you would more than one failing module us, as all of our XMD mudules are tested in a MB at the rated speed befire the leave our factory. I would also suggest testing them one at a time abd reset or clear the first to be sure. If you still do not get the system to post with both modules, we can try and replace your modules. Please send us a email with a copy of the form or all of your info name address and phone# and the Module part# and copy the link to this post and email it to Warranty@corsairmemory.com. Or you can also use the On Line RMA Request Form as well. If after 1 day or 24 hours excluding weekends you do not get the rma please email the same to rma@corsairmemory.com and we will help to resolve it.
