Kbombers45
My computer does not start when the memory is set up dual channel it only works single channel. It works fine in my HP but when i put it on the asus motherboard only one stick works at a time. I checked to make sure it wasn't the motherboard by updating the bios and i put in other memory PC2100 and it works fine. please help.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 21, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 21, 2004 Please check your bios version, if you have a newer 90nm CPU you may need bios version 1.007 or newer. And I would use slots 2-4 and set your Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts as well. But the fact the modules run in another system would suggest it's not the memory!
