seypher
Hello, A few years ago I bought the following computer: So, until recently the computer always served very well for the tasks it was submitted. But with Windows 10 the 4gb no longer realize, so I decided to upgrade the memory. I noticed that my memory is made up of 2 sticks of Corsair Dominator 2g ddr3 1600Mhz, the principle is the frequency in 1333 (I do not know why). I sought to market a memory with the same characteristics 1600Mhz DDR3 Corsair 4GB 9-9-9-24, for my motherboard (ASUS P7P55D PRO) has 4 slots and only supports 16GB (4GB in each slot). I bought the following Memory: Corsair Vengeance 4GB 1600MHz DDR3 Blue CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9B. http://sm.uploads.im/t/I3D07.jpg By placing the computer, with other memories or alone, the computer starts to boot and then lock the windows. I'm in the dark, I do not know why the computer crashes whenever begins to load Windows 10 and restarts. To turn on the computer, only with old memories. I do not know what to do, this new memory is not compatible with my card or my processor? Please ask help to resolve this situation, since I started using this machine for simulations that develop in the doctorate. Thank you help! Corsair Employees Corsair Henry Posted February 2, 2016 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 2, 2016 can you try using only the new memory module alone? If the new memory module works alone, that means that they are not compatible with each other. That is why we always suggest purchasing a matched memory kit.
