Prazcon
Hey guys, Recently I bought an hg10 to cool my 290x in conjunction with my H80. However I'm having some strange issues. When I put some thermal grease on the gpu and screw the H80 fully down, the gpu wont boot but if I then remove the block and and reapply thermal grease (with cleaning the residual) and do not fully screw down the block, it boots right up. The issue is that if I don't fully screw it down I get idle temps of 34 but rise under load to 90 degrees within seconds. The pump is functioning properly so that is nit the issue, does anyone know how to solve this? Kind regards, Mike
Toasted
Double check your install. Something may not have been mounted properly. Put in a support ticket as well and see what Corsair says as well. https://corsair.secure.force.com/
Prazcon
I already did, all the screws are in the right place, stand-offs fully screwed down, not too much thermal grease etc. I already opened a ticket but didn't get a response yet.
