The only problem I would think of would be if the board has a 4 pin power input. But if the PSU has two 4 pin for MB power there will be no issues at all. I checked, you're good. Good stable voltage will give a wicked overclock on the 2500k, IMHO the last good overclocker from Intel. I have the P8Z77 deluxe from Asus in the closet which I no longer use so if you ever need another board, hit me up. I had a I7 3770k in it but my son has the same board he is using every day with a 2700k. He's been running it at 5ghz for about 5 or 6 years now.
