Marini80
As I can read here http://www.corsair.com/en-us/support/warranty, since novembre 19, 2015 DRAM memory modules have a lifetime warranty. But the tech specs of some products still report a limited lifetime warranty. This is an exemple: http://www.corsair.com/en-us/vengeance-pro-series-32gb-4-x-8gb-ddr3-dram-1866mhz-c9-memory-kit-cmy32gx3m4a1866c9 So the word "limited" is to be considered as deleted from the tech specs of all memory modules? And, in this case, what's the difference with this other memory module http://www.corsair.com/en-us/dominator-platinum-series-32gb-4-x-8gb-ddr3-dram-1866mhz-c9-memory-kit-cmd32gx3m4a1866c9 ? Only the heat spreader or the CMD32GX3M4A1866C9 is produced with better components not reported in the tech specs?
Corsair Employees Corsair James Posted January 24, 2016 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 24, 2016 All lifetime warranties are limited because they only apply to the first owner of the product. Once a product is sold or given to a second party, the warranty is voided as it is not transferable.
Administrators Technobeard Posted January 24, 2016 Administrators Share Posted January 24, 2016 The Corsair warranty in general is considered a Limited Warranty, regardless of the length of the warranty for the specific product. It's right at the top of the warranty page. All memory modules have the exact same warranty.
