Harvey King
Hey everyone, M95 Software and firmware instillation problems. A few hours ago i just received my new corsair M95 in the post, ordered one day before for next day arrival, so everything seemed fine. I was plugging it in, going to the corsair site to install the software, everything basic seemed fine and so on. As i went to install the software and firmware i was encountered by this when using the firmware (see below) https://gyazo.com/14a618645b3f90c602af17fda6b86e93 Once clicked a second time to try and "update firmware", This happens. https://gyazo.com/64fa2f5ba7aaa072ee4e5b4533fa234b I've done some research, had a look around for any of the same problems and I've tried what solutions I've seen such as using a USB 2.0 instead of 3.0 which didn't work, I've gone into the power settings and changed the USB selective suspend setting to Disabled. Still no luck. After reinstalling the software multiple times, reading through the PDF files in the rar. file that it comes with I've still had no success in fixing this problem, could this be a problem with the mouse itself, my computer or something else that's going wrong? is this a common thing people are having a problem with? its kinda frustrating when getting something new that's supposed to work and then it not, of course it could just be me missing a simple step. If anyone has anything that could help me at this time feel free to leave it down below, any ideas where i should go from this point on. Thanks in advance everyone. -Harvey. terabyte
Install the software only, the firmware on the site is way too old (more than 2 years) and if you just purchased the mouse you already have the latest version available. Also the FW updater does not work under Win 10, but as I just said above you don't really need it :):
