PandC
I'm looking for suggestions on how I can get CUE installed onto my PC. It has never installed correctly onto this machine (The installation freezes at the 'Installing Devices (1/2)' stage every time and I have to hard reset the PC). I used to be able to 'cheat' and install CUE onto my laptop and then manually copy the files over but when I try this now I just get errors regarding various dll's not being compatible with Win 10 or corrupted etc. I have raised this issue with support in the past but even though they acknowledge that other users have this issue, they cannot replicate it themselves and therefore just ignore the problem! Corsair Employees Corsair Henry Posted January 22, 2016 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 22, 2016 I doubt Corsair support is ignoring the problem you are having. The support agent might have told you he is not able to replicate the issue, but that doesnt mean we will ignore it. It just means that it will take more time for our developers and to find out what the root cause is and if it's system specific related. If the issue is happening to everyone, you will see pages of complaints. Try using usb 2.0 instead of 3.0 to see if it will get passed where you keep getting stuck. I would also advise trying Zheren159 method as well.
PandC
Thanks for the replies folks. Following many attempts at getting CUE installed I stumbled on the exact suggestion that Zheren had suggested before I actually saw the post and that worked. Henry - I appreciate what you are saying about support but maybe they should consider keeping customers a little bit more informed. Why couldn't they have said "we can't replicate it but have forwarded your info to the developers to see what they can do"? I had even offered help to resolve the problem since I could easily replicate the problem - I know that if developers can access a machine that demonstrates the problem they can identify the issues a lot faster than simply 'guessing' at what might be the problem.
