Anonrate
I just recently bought the Corsair K70 RGB and the Corsair Scimitar RGB. Right out of the box and after downloading the software and setting up the "1" and "2" keys to navigate through pages via the "Backwards" and "Forwards" action worked fine. But all of a sudden they stopped working, then once a new release of the CUE came out it worked again. But now just about a half an hour ago before I created my account on here to create this thread, they stopped again. Everything is up to date, firmware and all. I only have one profile which is default. Sometimes the app will actually freeze and I can't do anything in it and will become non-responsive so it just closes after saying so by Windows. (Windows 10 Pro x64) I am really lazy and I mean really lazy, I need these actions to work, it's such a hassle when they don't work. Yes I have customized the lighting on both the mouse and keyboard. I have had no such trouble what so ever with the keyboard and I'm really loving it. I am very satisfied with this keyboard, it's my first Mechanical Keyboard and the keyboard I was using before was the Logitech G510 with the Mini Screen of which I don't miss. Someone please help me out here, this is agonizing pain. I have attached the 2 logs from today of which it started occurring. The only log before these 2 that were from today was from around 1AM when I was going to sleep and turned off my computer. I had to change the file extensions from ".log" to ".txt"... Should really allow ".log" since it's properly suffixed that way.2016-01-21T12-52-51.txt2016-01-21T16-10-54.txt
Toasted
In one of the logs, it shows the Scimitar timing out due to the LEDs. You will notice this when the LED animations on the mouse stop. Replugging the mouse should resolve the issue.
Anonrate
What would be causing that though? And I will for sure to next time look at the LED's the next time it happens.
Corsair Employees Corsair Henry Posted January 22, 2016 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 22, 2016 What would be causing that though? And I will for sure to next time look at the LED's the next time it happens. We have a fix in place that will be coming out soon and it's FW related. It is not a faulty hardware if that is what you are wondering.

Hello, I have the exact same problem with my Scimitar, good to see that a firmware update is in the works. Have you been getting reports with the K95 RGB keyboard ? My pc won't boot after its been off for a couple days and it will boot again if I disconnect the RGB keyboard and plug it into another USB, I haven't seen this happen with the standard generic keyboard that came with the computer, any information regarding the K95 RGB and USB connections ? I have followed the manual with regards to the types of connections with no success. The Scimitar and K95 RGB are excellent by the way and I am very happy with my purchase. The number buttons on my mouse just stopped working about 5 - 10 minutes ago, the animations are still working just as I set them and if I unplug my mouse and plug them back in it does not fix the issue. I also had to close down the process for CUD manually as it would not open.
