bigberta
Hello forum, recently bought a H80i, he is very good but the pump makes a noise that bothers me a little. I wonder if that sound is normal or is something I should worry about. Here is a video I made, it all fans are off and it is possible to hear only the sound of the pump and coil whine of my gtx 970. c-attack
I don't like the high frequency noise I can hear in the video. I don't know if this is audible to you or is a byproduct of the microphone recording. If that noise is the sound you are hearing, I would contact customer support and see what they say. You will need to create a login if you don't already have one. In the meantime, you can try powering the H80i from a different SATA connector or move the line out from the Power Supply to a different output. It's possible this is electrical interference, but if not, there isn't much you can do. It does sound mechanical to me. I ran several H80i over three years. None of them made that noise.
