Ornolf
Hello, everyone. When I push the power button on my PC I hear the single click from my PSU and system starts. Also there is single click when system shuts down. It sounds like some sort of switch turns on and off inside the PSU. No clicks or other noise during workload. Is this normal? Corsair Employees jonnyguru Posted January 16, 2016 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 16, 2016 Yes. That's the in-rush current relay. Totally normal.
Ornolf
Thanks, buddy. That's what I thought. But honestly, this could be written in manual. Like - "If you hear a click, it's a relay. Don't worry." It would save a space on this forum as users won't post the same question again and again. Also it would be nice to have ATX cable fitting mobo w/o such a hard push. This PSU is not a cheap one to face such a problem.
