Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 20, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 20, 2004 Yes, but you would do better with 2 512 Meg sticks. I would suggest Twinx1024-3200XL for best performance with this MB.
kimy
I heard that 4 mem's are faster than two? Will 4 mem's go as hot as two mem's do? by they way, i'm planing some overclocking thats why I need 500mhz memorys.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 20, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 20, 2004 That's not true with most MB's especially with AMD64.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 20, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 20, 2004 I would suggest Twinx1024-4400C25 for the fastet module or if that is too much I would still go with Twinx1024-3200XL.
kimy
is there a big difference between 2,5-4-4-8 and 3-4-4-8? cuz this is getting expensive.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 20, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 20, 2004 I would suggest you go with Twinx1024-3200XL Cass 2-2-2-5 at DDR400 or Cass 3-4-4-8 at DDR500 should be easy to attain. But if you are looking at XMS4000 they are rated at Cass 3-4-4-8 at DDR500 or they might run at Cass 3-3-3-8 at DDR400.
