Fyrepony
Ok, so long story short. I have a a k70 RGB that is nearly 1 year old. The "N" Key is chattering a lot. I tried to submit an RMA, but the CSR do not seem they wish to help me. I have moved on, what I would like to know is, could I remove the switch from the caplock key and replace the "N" key switch. I am very proficient at soldering, and I have the tools. What I do not know is their any software, or firmware reason this would not work. Thanks. Fyrepony
For any one that was interested, you remove like 14 screws the keyboard comes apart very easily and the key switches are held in by 2 soder points they come out and swap very easily. Very simple to repair, assuming you have a key to sacrifice for me I used cap lock I keep it disabled 99% of the time so it did not matter. Can you provide me with your ticket number so i can look into this? Do not take apart the keyboard because you will void the warranty..
Fyrepony
With all due respect to you. When I wrote this I was very angry I could not get an RMA. I will freely admit the warranty is now void. But my chatter problem is now solved. Good luck to you and any one who reads the forums.
