martin286
I moved from a razer lycosa mirror keyboard (old 2007) to the standard strafe (red lightning) and noticed that the layout is smaller, is this the normal layout or I was used to a bigger layout ? I'm having a hard time getting used to the tight keys location.
terabyte
I had a lycosa too before and I did notice the same when I switched, the FXX keys and everything else has less space between the various keys areas. This is how all Corsair keyboards are I think, it varies from company to company. Personally I don't mind it being smaller, I can free up a couple more centimeters of space on my desk which helps. martin286
oh, excellent ! did you get used to it? I've been with the lycosa for 6 years and it's getting hard, I can't type quickly yet without pressing some other key and my reflexes are also a bit slower becuase I have to double check quickly that I'm pressing the right keys (dota specially has become a bit harder, fps's are ok). Thanks for the input :)
terabyte
Yeah, I got used to it but it took me a couple of weeks. And that was while using extensively the keyboard, I code for work so I use it a lot :p: Initially I made too quite a few mistakes, especially since it was my first mechanical keyboard. Before it I had used myself the lycosa for ~4 years. It might take you a bit more to get used to it but I'm sure you'll get the hang of it eventually. I've had the K70 RGB (brown switches) for ~1 year and the Strafe RGB (brown switches) for another ~6 months.
