gamer-king
Hi, as I don't receive any anwsers in the german subforum I will hopefully get them here. 1. Which sensor is used in the optical version of the Sabre mouse? In other forums I read that it is the ADNS S3988. 2. I currently use the laser version of the Sabre. Do I have to uninstall CUE first before switchig from the laser version to the optical or can I just plug the optical version in? TIA
terabyte
1) Not sure which sensor it uses so I can't answer that unfortunately. 2) No, there is no need to uninstall CUE. Just plug-in the mouse and it will recognize it without any further change/configuration needed.

Can I switch the mouse while my PC is on or should turn it off before? You can switch the mouse while your computer is on. Please give some time for windows to download the driver and for CUE to recognize it
Goat1
Just plug it in and go. I have the Sabre Optical myself, but ever since I got the Scimitar, Its in a box. I also have a Razer Chroma Epic wireless, but that is put away also. Scimitar to me is the best mouse hands down.

terabyte
Plug it in and see if it works, there is really no other way to tell. Unless the mouse has some huge crack somewhere... EDIT: Henry beat me to it :p:
gamer-king
There is no physical damage. I pluged in the mouse in and as far as I can tell it works. Should I look or test specifc things? EDIT: The CUE says that my mouse ist working normally, so I suppose that it didn't get any damage form the drop right?
