Assigning a key that stops all currently active macros?

Hi,

I'm wondering if this is possible to do on my K95 RGB. I play a game on which I frequently use macros to continuously spam an ability or sets of abilities so that I don't have to.

What I'm trying to do NOW is set a single key that will automatically terminate any macro that's currently running. In other words, I want the T key to do this so that when I go to type in chat, I don't suddenly type 2222222222222222222222 because my macro is still running. This way I could have the macros running, then by pressing T to start typing in chat, the macro would cease automatically.

Is that possible? Or am I dreaming too big?

Have you tried the Mode Selection/Switching feature?

In the assignments tab, Right click a G-KEY or another key and press Mode Selection/Switching.

Click the first option and the check box, this will set the G-KEY/any other key to switch to M2 on press then M1 on release. That may help.

Note: Assigning the Mode Selection/Switching to T will remove the ability to open a chatbox to type so it will be best to assign it to a G-KEY or a unused key.

Well then unfortunately that's not the solution either... the whole idea relies on T being the operative key, otherwise it would no different than simply pressing the currently macro key again, which is what I do right now anyway. The goal is to not have to press the macro key again and then press T to type, but to instead do both in one motion by ending the macro and then opening the chatbox.
