dvd604
I was watching a full screen movie in VLC player and the cursor is supposed to disappear after 1 second if you leave it idle but the Corsair utility engine stops it from doing that for some reason. The problem is fixed when I close the utility engine. I can't find a setting anywhere to fix that.
shonay
I'm having the exact same issue. Did you manage to find a fix for this? (other than closing the Corsair Utility Engine App)

dvd604
if you disable mouse lighting does it go away? Yes, that fixes it but it's pretty much the same thing as having to close the program every time you launch vlc.

Corsair Employees Corsair James Posted February 4, 2016 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 4, 2016 When you’re using CUE, is the mouse the only device you have connected? I was able to reproduce this issue finally by having the mouse configuration windows active on CUE (Actions/Lighting) but I was not able to reproduce it if it was the keyboard configuration windows active on CUE. I got this tip from browsing VLC complaints and it seems certain programs when active and not minimized have the same issue.

Didn't have this problem with the razer mouse I was using earlier.

If the mouse isn't active in CUE, it goes away so I'll see if we can resolve this in a future update.
Inheritance
Small update. This bug has been reproduced. A temp work around is to select another CUE enabled device before closing CUE.
Doug-le-Guedin
Hello, It's happening to me as well. I'm using a Corsair Scimitar RGB (firmware 2.0.1 and bootloader 0.02) and CUE 1.15.36 on a Windows 10 (x64) machine. And it's the only device connected to my laptop.
