M65 mouse cursor does not disappear in VLC

I was watching a full screen movie in VLC player and the cursor is supposed to disappear after 1 second if you leave it idle but the Corsair utility engine stops it from doing that for some reason.

The problem is fixed when I close the utility engine.

I can't find a setting anywhere to fix that.

Yes, that fixes it but it's pretty much the same thing as having to close the program every time you launch vlc.

yes i know im just trying to get some info for the bug report. Also do you have a single or multi monitor setup? Also whats your CUE version, and firmware version on the mouse? And whats your windows version?

Single monitor with newest firmware and windows 7.

Give us the version number for VLC as I tested it with 2.2.1 and don't have this issue.

I'm on the 64 bit version of 2.2.1.

corsair utility engine 1.14.43

vlc 2.2.1 terry pratchett (weatherwax)

win 10 64bit

Cursor won't hide when using VLC full screen. Close corsair program, and it will. Tested several times and on different versions of corsair utility engine.

When you’re using CUE, is the mouse the only device you have connected? I was able to reproduce this issue finally by having the mouse configuration windows active on CUE (Actions/Lighting) but I was not able to reproduce it if it was the keyboard configuration windows active on CUE.

I got this tip from browsing VLC complaints and it seems certain programs when active and not minimized have the same issue.

Yes, corsair mouse and logitech keyboard.

Didn't have this problem with the razer mouse I was using earlier.

Okay, I'll see why this is the case. If the mouse isn't active in CUE, it goes away so I'll see if we can resolve this in a future update.
