I've wonder if its possible to use the HS40 headset like any other soundcard and output the sounds through external speakers , I have ( 2.1 ) Other than that I need to physically select my soundcard or headset under Win10 Currently I can't see how its possible from the devices properties I guess it would require a driver update.
