Dizlekzik
I'm having a similar issue in windows 10 64bit. Void Drivers won't install and I get this error message "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." It appears about midway through the install and says its "installing driver 2/2" I'm really struggling to find any resolutions to this and its pretty annoying as I can't get any sound out of my system! Dizlekzik
I'm still having an issue. The CUE system is picking it up but in devices Corsair VOID RGB Wireless Gaming Headset shows "Driver Error". All the drivers are up to date and I've forced the firmware update. Any ideas please? When I try to update driver software I get " The driver installation file is missing a necessary entry...."
Toasted
Try this and see if it helps. http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showpost.php?p=793363&postcount=5 Is Windows 10 a clean install or upgraded from a previous operating system? Have you installed CUE before?
Dizlekzik
I can get CUE to install by unplugging the dongle. However is says "Driver unavailable" in devices. This is really starting to get annoying as Im having to use a broken old headset atm. Any ideas? If not am i able to return the headset which I only bought in November under warranty? Toasted
Do you have another computer you can test the dongle and headset on? It sounds more of a Windows issue rather than something do with CUE. Yes, you will be able to RMA the headset, but as above, try the headset on another computer as the issue you are seeing may be a OS issue.
Dizlekzik
I've found that the dongle works with my girlfriend's laptop however when I have asked the Microsoft Support for help they have not been able to rectify my problem. Does this mean its an issue with Operating system install or could there be something else? It's such a shame because I loved my voids so much when they worked previously! Toasted
Manually install the drivers for the headset via Device Manager. The drivers for the headset can be found in the install folder of CUE.
