Baraccoli
Everytime I am on a certain DPI for awhile and I try to switch it to different DPI's I created in the CUE, the program or the mouse (idk which one) doesn't respond and doesn't change the DPI. The only way I've fixed this is by force updating the Katar everytime the problem occurs or unplugging the mouse and plugging it back in. Does anyone know the fix to this problem? Toasted
What is the DPI value when you encounter the issue? And what DPI value do you try to change it to? It's most likely CUE that stops responding. You should upload the latest log files generated by CUE here. The logs can be accessed by clicking Settings > Support > view logs. I usually change it from 400 --> 550 and sometimes go from 550 --> 2000 --> 4000 --> 6000 to revert it back to 400 DPI. When checking the log files it mostly says about my mouse and keyboard timing out. (I have the Corsair K70 RGB Keyboard) Here's some of it: [2016-01-10T09:06:42]: Buffer apply for Green failed. request timed out for K70 RGB [2016-01-10T09:06:45]: Buffer write failed, 1. request timed out for K70 RGB [2016-01-10T09:06:47]: Buffer write failed, 1. request timed out for K70 RGB [2016-01-10T09:07:14]: Buffer write failed, 1. request timed out for K70 RGB [2016-01-10T09:07:40]: Buffer apply for Green failed. request timed out for K70 RGB [2016-01-10T09:07:44]: Buffer write failed, 1. request timed out for K70 RGB [2016-01-10T09:07:58]: Buffer write failed, 1. request timed out for K70 RGB [2016-01-10T09:08:02]: Buffer write failed, 1. request timed out for K70 RGB [2016-01-10T09:08:19]: Mouse LED colors change failed. request timed out for KATAR [2016-01-10T09:08:28]: Buffer write failed, 1. request timed out for K70 RGB [2016-01-10T09:08:29]: Buffer write failed, 1. request timed out for K70 RGB [2016-01-10T09:08:31]: Mouse LED colors change failed. request timed out for KATAR [2016-01-10T09:08:35]: Buffer write failed, 1. request timed out for K70 RGB [2016-01-10T09:08:37]: Buffer apply for Blue failed. request timed out for K70 RGB [2016-01-10T09:08:41]: Buffer write failed, 1. request timed out for K70 RGB [2016-01-10T09:08:47]: Buffer write failed, 1. request timed out for K70 RGB [2016-01-10T09:09:24]: Buffer write failed, 1. request timed out for K70 RGB
Toasted
Please update your system specs; http://forum.corsair.com/v3/profile.php?do=extra Have you tried other USB ports? Does it help?
Aefix
Reviving an old post as I myself have the same issues. I've bought the mouse through newegg ( Reviewed btw! @ Charlie C. ), Using CUE 1.16.42, it worked just fine the first day, then after I started to assign custom commands the middle mouse and dpi button completely stop working, however force updating wouldn't fix my issue, a PC restart or a user account logoff would fix it. I've tried all USB ports, tried running admin mode, disable / re-enable buttons via CUE software. Do you guys have an archive so I can test earlier versions of CUE? Aefix
Check the FAQ linked in my signature for older CUE builds. Have you tried it another Pc? No other PC's in the house. Downgraded one at a time and it seems both STRAFE and KATAR using CUE 1.11.86 is doing okay with no issues I've ran into as of yet, thanks zheren.
