enbeekay
HI. I'm going to be picking up a Sabre Optical hopefully tomorrow but I was wondering about on board memory. If I install the software/drivers/update firmware etc, disable the lighting (I'd get a non-RGB if i could :)) set DPI to 800, disable the DPI switch buttons and the weird button on the top...will the mouse save this to on board memory so I can then uninstall the software or would I still need the software to keep the DPI set and lightning/buttons disabled? Thanks :)
terabyte
No, you can just save the profile on the onboard memory and it will still work. There is no need either to uninstall CUE though, just stop it from starting when windows start and you'll be fine as well. Or do you have a reason for wanting to uninstall it? Just curious.. :p:
enbeekay
Oh it isnt uninstall it so much but... With my logi mouse i had everything saved to on board memory so when i reformatted it just worked exactly as before which is what I want...and swapping machines with it, keep the buttons disabled, 800 dpi only with no lights :p On the M65 I had on a fresh install it always reverted to standard settings :/
enbeekay
Right so I got this mouse today and while the right mouse button clicks when you push the mouse button down, the left button has some travel in it before it seems to reach or push the switch. I'm guessing this isn't normal? Also the DPI switch buttons (although at the moment I have no plans to use them), at least the DPI shift up button doesn't seem to want to be pressed downards when my finger is on the button, it wants a more forward push. Have I got a bit of a bad mouse? *Edit* Pushing the left click further back seems to have closer to normal travel although there's a bit of flex compared to the right. Obviously I can't use the mouse like that due to the size of my hand.
Corsair Employees Corsair Henry Posted January 12, 2016 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 12, 2016 The left and right click travel should be identical. As for the DPI button, it should not behave that way either. It's safe to say that you have received a bad mouse. You can either submit a RMA to replace the mouse through Corsair or contact reseller to see if you can exchange the unit out.
