crestfa11en
Hello all this is my first post here. The mouse appears undamaged but the optical sensor does not light up Corsair Utility Engine (CUE) Software tells me the following message (no device detected. please connect device.) I have connected the mouse to both my windows 8 and windows 10 PC nether can detect the mouse it just lights up and sicles through the colours but nothing else happens? I was expecting some issues with this mouse as the reviews are mixed but as of yet it just lights up but does not function as a basic mouse has anyone encountered this problem before is there a fix? terabyte
Leaving CUE aside for a minute, is the mouse getting recognized at least by windows? What happens when you plug it in? Does windows recognize a new device has been plugged in and tries to install the drivers? Can you post a screenshot of your "Manage Devices" window when the mouse is connected? Is there any device with a yellow triangle or something?

crestfa11en
By the looks of things I'm on my own, for anyone googling this I believe I may have bought a demo unit non functioning display unit or simply a mouse with a dead optical sensor, should anyone reply before I send this item back here's another screen shot: http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x443/alfabet0/cpr%20fail%2038.jpg As you can see Corsair Utility Engine (CUE) can not detect the mouse regardless of the highlighted (Corsair composite virtual input device) in device manager
Corsair Employees Corsair Henry Posted January 12, 2016 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 12, 2016 The sensor does not light up. The mouse should function as a regular mouse as soon as you plug it in, even without the software. If it only lights up and no other functions work ( left and right click), then it is very likely that the unit is bad. Have you tried it on another USB port or on another computer to see if it behaves the same?
