Facasi
RAM GUY: Hi, I have a the following system: P4 2.4C @ 3.0 ghz (250FSB x12) Asus P4P800 Deluxe Ram Corsair 1 GB= XMS512-3200C2 (x2) 2-3-3-6 2.85 V 5:4 (Running at 200mhz ) 400 DDR Video: Radeon 9600 PRO 128 MB Question: I am trying to increase the FSB but after 252 mhz the ram is giving me errors with memtest, I also tryed putting the divider to 3:2 (memory runnig at 170mhz) but failed at memtest. I have read about systems that have this type of ram running at 220 mhz . The timming were released but no good results at all. Do you have some ideas why I can't not be over this speed ?? Thanks! Wired
Dude, you're hitting the limit, that's all. Sounds like the CPU based upon your results when underclocking the memory, although I wouldn't be suprised if you're hitting the limit of the memory as well. But I tryed 3:2 and the memory was running at 167 mhz (334DDR) and I am not able to increase more than that .. What do you think?

I ask because most of the 2.4C that I have seen overclocked, the average speed is aroung 3.2-3.4 ghz
