geebster
CUE detects the headset, and says the firmware is up to date, however in device manager it is appearing as "Unknown Device" and when I try to update the driver I get a "Windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device" error. It states that the error occurred during installation of the device and the INF is missing a necessary entry. I am using windows 10. I am unable to find the drivers for the headset so I can try a manual installation of it either. Also tried to repair MSI to see if that was it, and that did not have an effect. Toasted
CUE Audio drivers can be found here; C:\Program Files (x86)\Corsair\Corsair Utility Engine\driver\audio If the driver still does not install, try reinstalling or installing the previous version of CUE and see whether it helps. geebster
Problem got worse. Tried to reinstall CUE and now it won't even install since it fails to install driver. I should probably note this whole problem started when upgrading to windows 10, the headset was fine on 8.1.
Corsair Chris
Since you said that you upgraded, I would suggest trying to clean install Windows and try again.
