destroyer_bravo
I've been using and been very satisfied with a Corsair K70 (recently a newer one with the "Corsair Gaming" logo on it) and today all of the keys on it remained unbacklit except the volume functions and the backlight button. It is entirely unresponsive, and I've tried unplugging it and putting it back in, and restarting my computer but no dice. Is this an irreperable issue? slenda
I have the Corsair K70 cherry red/red LED keyboard and it died also after about a year of light use. What I discovered that if you gently play with or straighten the USB cable you might get it to work but as soon as you move the keyboard it will stop working again. This is actually another major flaw in a Corsair product as I learned on YouTube many are having this same issue. What attracted me to this product was that thick USB cable, looked very strong, what a joke, how misleading !!!! Glad I didn't actually pay for it, waste of money. Toasted
Is the keyboard detected in Windows or the BIOS? If moving the cable 'resolves' the issue and the keyboard is still in warranty (two years), you can request an RMA to replace the keyboard via Corsair. https://corsair.secure.force.com/

Corsair Employees Corsair Henry Posted January 6, 2016 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 6, 2016 right and I have to put $100 hold my cc. No thanks ! There will only be a hold if you choose the express RMA option. If you are OK with the standard process where you ship in the product first, there is no hold.
