Voldum
Hi there, Just got the H100i for Christmas and installed it. When attaching the USB cable I noticed that the USB-port in the pump was a bit loose. However, I managed to attach the cable. Fans are running at ~800 RPM, and the pump must also be running since the CPU is cooled. Now to the problem: The H100i is not detected anywhere, not in LINK, not in the device manager, and the registry fix does not work since the files that is to be changed does not exist. I have tried connecting to all the USB headers on my motherboard and I have tried an external connection - still no dice. Now my question is: is there anything more I can do before starting a RMA? Thanks for your help. Cheers
red-ray
Are there any devices with Yellow Triangles in Device Manager? If so post a screen shot of the properties that shows the error code.
Voldum
There are no yellow triangles in the Device Manager, and I have not been able to locate the H100i in there (I looked at this http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=113981 but i can't find any devices with those ID's). Toasted
Have you tried other internal USB 2.0 headsers? You can also try a miniUSB B to Type A cable and see whether that makes a difference. If that does not work, request an RMA to replace the pump. https://corsair.secure.force.com/
Voldum
I have tried all the internal USB 2.0 headers and I have tried with a USB cable from the pump to a USB port on the back of the case (I guess that's the type A and B thing you're talking about?). Toasted
Yes, that is the cable. Request an RMA to replace the cooler. https://corsair.secure.force.com/
Eriku
I just got a H100i GTX and i'm having the same issue so I dont think it has to with the product itself, it's probably corsair link or maybe Windows 10.
Toasted
Does Windows detect the cooler? Open Devices and Printers and check if "Corsair Hydro Series 7289 USB Device" or "H100i GTX" is listed. If "H100iGTX is listed rather than the first one, you will probably have to install the drivers via Device Manager or reinstall the LINK software. Have you tried running SIV (System Information Viewer) created by red-ray? Does it detect your cooler?
