ianmc74
I have a problem with the standoffs (female) on the back mounting plate being too long. They protrude about ~1/16" from the surface of my motherboard, which in turn will not let me tighten the standoff's. It's not supposed to be this way is it? Here's a link with pics. http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2125284/h105-bracket-extremely-loose-fix.html#17236487
Datakiller24
Hi, According Corsair installation guide for H100i GTX (not H105) this is normal: http://www.corsair.com/en/blog/2015/march/h100i_gtx_how_to When I installed my cooler, after tightening the standoff´s it was a bit loose also. After installing the 4 screws the CPU block holds well, no movement (can´t move it) and have cooler working well. You can wait until someone with H105 responds or try to install it and You will see if it holds well. BR, Peter

Yes it does state that with the H100i, and it even looks loose in the video. My H105i instructions do not mention that. I will try to install and see if it tightens up. Thanks again. I used a small rubber washer as well as a nylon one on top of it to put just a sleight 'crush' (or tension) on the back plate mount. I purchased these from Ace Hardware. I hope Corsair will put something about this in all their manuals in the future. Thank you for all your help...again. Pic attached.
