WayneGS
I just got a brand new K70 RGB. When my PC is running, it works great. About 30 seconds after I turn my PC off, the keyboard lights up in Christmas-tree-on-drugs mode. How do I tell my K70 to stay completely off when my PC is off? I hope the answer is not, "Crawl under your desk and unplug the USB cables."

If not, then yes you will have to unplug it.
WayneGS
I cannot find a BIOS setting to turn off my USB ports. This is too expensive of a keyboard to keep under a newspaper so I can sleep a night. I'll return it next week. If I got a K70 non-RGB, would I have the same problem? Can I turn off the LED backlighting when my PC is off but there is still power to the keyboard?
terabyte
I think you will still have this issue with any kind of backlit keyboard until you have that setting enabled. Unless the keyboard firmware itself is coded to not light up unless there are both power AND USB enumeration.
Liroku
There is a light brightness key near the top right of the keyboard, to the left of the windows lock button. Does it let you cycle through brightness with PC off? If so, you can turn off the lights with that..
