michael123nl
Dear forum members, I've just received my K70 an hour ago and was excited to plug it in when I realized my Windows doesn't recognize the keyboard. I've trying plugging it in every USB port possible with every combination (3.0-2.0, 2.0-2.0, 3.0-3.0 etc) but with no succes. It apperently doesn't work in BIOS either. I've tried every BIOS option on the switch on the back but yet again, with no avail. Tried updating all my drivers, uninstalling them and then reinstalling them again. Starting my PC without KBM plugged in or going full-desperate mode and blowing in the USB ports which didn't work (duh). I am using a Logitech wireless receiver as I still have my wireless mouse. Might it be a conflict between the receiver and the keyboard? Is it because I bought this keyboard with a 60 euro discount and the people who I bought it from just threw this defective K70 in the box? I see that the braiding was a bit damaged already when I received it. Or is it maybe my own PC's fault? I do not have any devices other than my own PC to test my keyboard on. If any of you know a fix for my problem, it would be highly appreciated . EDIT: So after messing around I now see this: https://gyazo.com/eb35157a7389d53d6855106ebbe605f3 On the left there's yellow triangle on the Corsair Virtual Input Device saying theres no driver and on the right there is a HID-Keyboard again, saying there's no driver. EDIT: This K70 just has been an indirect cause of my motherboard/PSU dying... great! And now the RMA's and e-mails are delayed cause of the holidays it will take a few weeks which I need to wait without my computer. A keyboard has caused me this much problems. Knew I should've gone for an XTi or a 6gv2. This is depressing.
terabyte
Wait, first let's find out what you actually have. Do you have the RGB or non-RGB model of the K70? If you have the RGB model try running again the CUE installer and choose the repair option, then restart your computer. See if that helps. If the above solution doesn't help click on that unrecognized device with the yellow triangle and try to manually update the device to use the Corsair driver in the PROGRAMS folders in your HDD/SSD. I have the non-RGB model (CH-9000067-NA). Both devices you see in the screenshot are gone. They aren't recognized anymore. Few hours ago while switching the BIOS switch on the back the keyboard lit up, only to fade out again. So I know the keyboard somewhat works and it might be my PC's problem... should I downgrade to Windows 7 maybe? I actually did a factory reset but it still doesn't work. I've also noticed when started my PC, when my K70 is not plugged in it starts as normal but when it is plugged it it's stuck on my start-up screen where you can enter BIOS and includes the motherboards manufacturer, which normally dissapears within a 2-3 seconds. terabyte
Oh okay, then the K70 has no software or any kind of driver. Forget what I said about CUE or anything else, you don't need those and can't even use them. If you have the keyboard in BIOS mode does your computer start or it still gets stuck on the start up screen? You might have to go into your motherboard BIOS and check some kind of Legacy USB option in there, but I don't recall the exact naming right now. You'll have to find that out yourself, there are also a few other threads that mention this same setting.

Which includes, if I remember correctly: -USB Controller -USB Legacy support -USB 3.0 Legacy support and some more, but I forgot. And you've guessed it, still doesn't work. I have my keyboard on BIOS mode, but still gets stuck on the start-up screen. If I want to enter the BIOS I need to unplug my K70 and press F2 quickly on my old wireless keyboard to access it. Then if I plug the K70 in again, while in BIOS everything starts to lag and the K70 doesn't respond while in BIOS.
terabyte
Oh sorry, I didn't word that clear enough. If I recall right you need to disabled those options, and not enable them :p: Try disabling both USB Legacy support settings you listed, or were those already both disabled before you enabled them? If so your best option would be to open a ticket with Corsair's support at this point.

Returning the K70 now, aswell as my motherboard.
