I just recently got an h105. I planned on having a pretty much silent at idle rig. But it seems that the loudest thing in the rig is now my h105. It makes a really annoying buzz/hum at 12 volts, but when I turn it to 7 volts it's pretty much inaudible. It also makes a liquid noise every now and then at 12 volts, but not really at 7 volts. Is this normal or should I return it for another?

Edit: For the record I'm not using the default fans because they get way too loud.

Unfortunately, the pump is the weak link in most AIO coolers. You don't want to be running it as 7 volts. It will have a short life. I went through the same thing with a H110. It cooled as it should, but the buzz was always a little too loud. I blamed the plexi door. I blamed the well vented case. It still made me miserable. I finally gave in and RMA'd it. The replacement is like night and day compared to the old one. I can't hear the pump from 36". I need to put my ear against the door, and even then it's a bit iffy. Depending on where you bought it and their return policy, I would try that option first. Corsair will replace it as well, but with the holidays, it will take considerably longer and postage will be involved.

The liquid gurgle noise is normal. Every 100,000 revolutions or so, it may miss a beat. There are a couple things you can try before packing it up. Move the power lead to a different header or try a molex to SATA connector. Sometimes you get interference along one particular channel.

I tried different headers already and no change, I now have it plugged into my define r5's fan controller so I can get it to either 5,7,12 volts. I ordered it from amazon so returns shouldn't be a problem.
