dobis4sway
I'm not sure when this became an issue exactly. I think it might be a driver issue. I have tried with my laptop and desktop. I have a wireless mouse that works and the touchpad on my laptop works too... Until I plug in the M65, then both the touchpad and the wireless mouse exhibit the same behavior as the M65. I don't believe it is the M65 hardware has gone bad. It occurs in safe mode however. Need some expertise in troubleshooting. Thanks
dobis4sway
Some updates It is intermittent in safe mode. It will function correctly if plugged in when booted to safe mode. Problem of left click with middle click simultaneously occurring happens when I plug in after Windows has loaded into safe mode occurs. Which makes my correctly functioning wireless mouse/touchpad exhibit the m65 behavior. Have yet to find a solution for regular boot. Tried going back version by version on CUE with no luck. Also uninstalled the Imagus extension Chrome with no change in symptoms. Upgraded laptop to Windows 10 as well. Symptoms remained. Is this the correct forum? Next steps? Would greatly appreciate any reply.
Toasted
I'd take a look at the mouse settings for Windows and possibly any software that controls your touchpad/wireless mouse and see if they are switching the buttons. Install the M65 software as well and see if you can fix the assignments and/or reflash the firmware and see if that helps. http://www.corsair.com/support/downloads

I guess I will try to downgrade the firmware. You are referring to Control Panel->Hardware and Sound -> Devices and Printers-> Mouse properties ? Then what should I look for? EDIT: Upon plugging in the M65 under the Hardware tab of Mouse properties I get 4 new "HID-compliant mouse" named devices. 2 are from Microsoft and 2 are from Corsair. Tried to disable one by one with no change in symptoms. Eventually got to one that disable the mouse completely.
Toasted
The mouse having multiple HID devices should be normal if i recall correctly. So you have the M65 RGB? Did you check the assignments tab? Are the buttons assigned to the correct function? Have you also tried reflashing the firmware by force flashing from the server? This issue appears in both the desktop and laptop as well?

I can sometimes get it to function correctly by switching user and then never restarting or turning off my computer. I have the latest firmware from server I believe. Issue appears on both laptop and desktop. Even with windows 10 installed now. Although it was not a clean install.
Toasted
Uninstall CUE and its drivers in Device Manger (if it remains installed) and let Window find and install its generic HID drivers. Does the mouse work fine? If possible, can you plug it into a different computer (don't install CUE) excluding your desktop and laptop and see whether the mouse functions normally. Put in a ticket with technical support and see whether they can help you as well. https://corsair.secure.force.com/
