UnitedDwarf
So I just got my new Corsair headset for christmas and several of my friends say I sound muffled and hard to understand. I have the softwares downloaded. I have also tested my microphone and it sounds fine to me. I have also tried a few different programs to make sure it's not a specific one (I've tried TeamSpeak, Raidcall, and Skype. Is this a common thing? Is there something I can do to fix it? Toasted
Did you record your voice and play it back? e.g. http://vocaroo.com/ If it sounds fine on your end, as zheren mentioned, it might be something on the other end. You can save your audio sample on vocaroo and sent it to your friend and see whether its fine on their end as well.
obsidian009
I just got an H2100 for xmas and had the same problem. I fixed it by going to Recording Devices, Properties, Advanced. Change from 44.1khz (CD quality) to 48khz DVD quality. You can find the same solution on youtube, there are some videos if you search for H2100 mic fix.
