cvolkers Posted December 17, 2004 Share Posted December 17, 2004 Since this memory made a massive difference in my game machine. I have a Gateway Solo 9500 laptop. I have to slots, I can have up to 512mb of ram, now this is my laptop for work so I don't want to go crazy on the ram, but the kingston ram I have in there just doesn't seem to do the job. I would like to put in 2 x 256mb chips. I looked on the config for the memory that would work for my laptop but didn't find anything, does anyone know of some good ram I could put in there to boost my performance? Thanks. Sorry but we do not offer XMS in PC-133 any longer. In addition, if you are having problems with the memory you have in the system, I would suggest running http://www.memtest.org on the modules you have now one at a time to be sure one is not failing.
