Ahtlon
I just installed the new H110i GT in my PC, did a clean install of windows 10 and installed the link software. Now the software recognize my AX1200i and it's seen in the software, but it keep asking for a restart because a new device is found. Th H110i GT is not seen in the software. Also it installed link and 2 drivers , so the H110i GT driver is installed I think, but it doesn't show up and ask for a reboot every time Windows 10 restarts or when you cancel it. I tried different USB ports, did again a new install of windows, tried different link soft ware, from the newest to 4 versions back. Problem won't go. Also the readings are messed up. Celt1
I installed the same unit on my PC earlier this week and had the same issues. Fortunately, I had been reading this forum in advance, and had seen red-ray's post on the dreaded new device restart required crap, and his fix. Kudos to red-ray. it did the trick for me. I have to chastise Corsair for this, knowingly shipping a product that has software which simply won't work is a huge problem. Do yourself a favor Corsair, get the Link software fixed pronto!! As much as I appreciate red-ray's efforts, it should not be up to users to solve this magnitude problem, and there are a lot of folk who simply would be out of depth editing the Windows registry. Take heart Ahtlon, I don't know your expertise level, but go slow and you should be able to resolve it, following his instructions carefully. Ahtlon
Well, I always had a AIO from Corsair, my first one was a H100 and then a H100i, never had problems with there link software ;):. So I was surprised that after al those Years having no problems, I now have a problem with Link and the new H110i GT. Yep I also saw Red-Ray post about this, but then I already had posted it. I am going to give Red-Ray solution a try this evening and see what happens. Well I am better in builds and OC , software is not my strongest point. Yes, of course CL users should not need to edit the registry, but there is a limit to what I can do. When http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=153706 works for you it would be good to post to it saying this as this would make it easier to find. Corsair should make it sticky! It would have taken me far less time to fix the CL code than explain how to do the work-a-round and at times I wonder if the CL developers are out of their depth :!: It should have been Corsair who posted http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=154421
