Can't get macros/remapping to work

I just got my K70 RGB today and I'm trying to remap keys through CUE, but it won't work, and I cannot figure it out. The only things I can get to work are the "corsair hotkeys" but any letters, or custom macros don't work. The lighting effect that I set to the key works though.

 

After watching a video, i'm doing exactly the same thing and it doesn't work. It seems like I can get anything to work done through the "text" section, but macros and keystrokes don't work at all.

 

 

Nevermind.

Had to reinstall CUE I guess.

Having The same problem here :sigh!: just bought my new corsair strafe rgb but when i try to assign a simple macro or a keystroke they simple dont work :sigh!: actually if i press a remapped key i realize that CUE instantly crashes.. Any help please ?

@TerrorBlade: have you updated recently to Win 10? If so did you install CUE before or after the upgrade? There have been several instances of peoples upgrading to Win10 messing up CUE. Running again the installer and choosing the REPAIR option should fix most issues in such cases.

I've been using windows 10 since the launch date. I was and still am an insider. So when i installed cue i installed it at windows 10. I tried reinstalling it but didnt help. Still the same problem :sigh!: i'll try the repair though i don't believe it's gonna do anything different than the clean install.
