pcnuttie
Hi i bought this headset from Best Buy few days ago. I notice my charger is lit green when charged for like at least 4 hours or less. When i attempt to turn it on it just won't come on. So i have to keep charging it. I notice it does this every time i boot my computer the next day? I thought these headphones stay charged through the day til the next day? I even kept the cord charged plugged in while using the headphones anyways. I didn't use wireless. I noticed when i turn off the headphones before i go to bed, i shut off my PC. Then the next day it needs to be charged again? Does battery drain overnight or something? I thought these headsets are supposed to stay charged til the next day? Doesn't the manual say it would stay charged for more than 10 hours? Right now my charger shows green lit but when i take it out.. and try to turn it on, it just won't come on. Doesn't it suppose to show a LED light too when taking it out or not? However it worked fine last night and lasted for hours. I like these headsets and they are comfortable. However i find the need to charge it everytime is annoying. Why can't they make a wired one too instead of relying on charging it? I just don't understand why i have to charge it again if i shut off my headset. Does that mean it'll drain the battery when i do that? Why doesn't conserve the charge? I will try leaving my computer on all night next time and see if i can get my headset to charge 24 hours and see if it can last the next day. Advice? pcnuttie
Here is an update. I charged it for more than 4 hours and i see a green lit. So i unplugged it and it just won't come on at all. I tried unplugging the USB like so many times and it charges it again then few second later i see green lit indicating that it is charged. I just cannot simply turn it on. I tried it last night and it worked fine. Dunno what is up with this.. either it just needs to be charged or there is a bug or glitch or i have a defecting product. I kinda wish i got something else. Kinda most unfortunate because i really like these headphones and they are so comfortable.
pcnuttie
wow nobody responded? How disappointing.. however the headset works. It's so annoying how you have to recharge the headset when you are done for the night as turning it off. I thought these headsets stay charged til the next day? At least i can charge it via cellphone charger. Works better and faster than trying to charge it via PC. Even though i have a good PC.
andyvee
When you plug it in to charge it should light up amber light for a second or 2 then go to a flashing amber light around every couple of seconds . If yours is just going straight to green I would think you have a defective product and should just take back to the store and replace it . I can go away for 3 weeks and come back and headset is good to go with no need to charge if its not been in use . FWIW mine is now over 2 years old ( V2100 ) and battery is still holding up with no issues on a 6 hour session sometimes , I haven't left it on to see how long it lasts but cant see it being less than 8 hours as I don't hear any beeps after 6 .
