_nuel
I recently purchased a non rbg k70. It was working fine when I first plugged in, until I went to update the firmware, using the software I found on http://www.corsair.com/en-us/support/downloads. When I attempted to update the firmware and the keyboard went completely unresponsive. It is no long recognized by windows. The only part the device that will still lights up is the caps lock, scoll lock, and, num lock indicator lights. They just flash. I submitted a ticket to see if this can be fix this and I tried everything I was told to try. Except "Remove software, install the latest software and reboot, flash the firmware, make sure you disable USB selective suspend (found in the Power Options of Control Panel, Advanced Power settings) before performing the firmware update." I have no idea where to find the firmware I would need to do this or which software would be used and where to find it. Does anyone know where I could find these items? terabyte
Just for reference in case someone else finds this topic: that firmware update is more than 2 years old and is NOT needed at all on the keyboards being sold now. You can completely skip it as the keyboards already have it by default.
