worf105
Hey all, What would you say was best if any at all, The Thermal material that is already applied on the H110i GTX or Arctic Silver 5 or MX-4 or even some very old Arctic Silver Ceramique ? rik1254
Gelid GC Extreme is the best I've found so far, but I believe some of the Thermal Grizzly stuff is pretty good now. Other than that, AS5 is a pretty solid choice, albeit a bit runny.
worf105
Quick Update: I just used the per applied TIM and seems to be working well. Before running Prime95 and IntelBurnin my COU was about 42oC with the CM Hyper 212 Evo with Corsair SP120 White LED fans in a push/pull config and now with the Corsair H110i GTX am down to 30oC. Also bought the Airflow from to my 750D which bring up the question, Do I remove the dust filter from the from as it looks as if the Airflow front panel has one already? Thanks worf105
Corsair Employees Corsair Dustin Posted December 14, 2015 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 14, 2015 The pre-applied TIM is typically your best choice. We use high quality TIM, and it's evenly spread on the block.

Yes you do. I use Noctua or Shin-Etsu Tim, mainly because I got the Noctua with a Noctua cooler and I was given the Shin-Etsu, however they are both excellent (if my memory is correct, Corsair used to use the Shin-Etsu on their coolers)
