Kodoque
Hey Guys, So I bought an M45 and K70 RGB to go with my setup, I love both devices, they look amazing. I want to say I've been happy with the purchases, however one of the LEDs on the keyboard displays a constant red tint (this doesn't usually bother me because my colour setup I've chosen is mostly red) so when I want to make the keys white that one key (the letter "N") has a red glow to it which looks out of place. I can live with that but what is actually bothering me to no end is the m45 mouse, I love the feel and look of the device and the tracking is perfect for me. Yet for some reason the right click on it seems shot, it misses a click every so often so I might be trying to open a new tab and have to click 3-4 times to get it to open, it's so inconsistent too which is bothersome. It's a consistent problem yet it's irregular in it's pattern. I have tried multiple fixes such as uninstalling drivers and re-installing etc. as well as disabling the USB selective suspend settings. Has anyone ever encountered this issue with the m45 or k70 and know of a fix? TLDR: m45 doesn't register every click for some reason (this is more important than the k70 issue) k70 led has red tint that wont go away Thanks for any help guys :)
Corsair Employees Corsair Henry Posted November 18, 2015 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 18, 2015 Have you tried updating the firmware on the M45? As for the red tint on your K70 RGB, try creating a new profile and clear out all of the default lighting and change them all to white to see if it's still there. Kodoque
Yes I have, more times that I'd like to admit. The firmware update fails everytime. Have tried it in both 2.0 and 3.0 ports and any other combinations or possible solutions I could find online. Also yeah I have tried new profiles and clearing all default lighting to no avail. EDIT: Thank you for replying :)
Jkraghify
Regarding the K70 RGB tint issue: Of the 5 K95 RGBs I have observed (2 of mine, and 3 friends') two had LED issues. A firmware flash fixed my lighting issue on the first try, but my friend didn't bother re-flashing the firmware and asked Corsair to RMA his K95 RGB (and he had a good RMA experience). Since the tint doesn't seem to be that big of an issue for you, I would recommend that you reflash the firmware for the keyboard if you haven't already. If a reflash doesn't/didn't help, you can contact Corsair Technical Support here and ask to be guided through a hard firmware reset or set up an RMA for your K70 RGB. Kodoque
Thanks for the tip Jkraghify, will give that a shot. Anyone have any ideas for the mouse issue? I've tried it on multiple PC's and the click issue persists, I don't want to void any sort warranty by opening it up as I've only had it a few months. Really hope it's just a software issue I can fix. Thanks for any help
Jkraghify
I don't know of a software fix for what you're describing. I don't have that mouse, but from your description I would guess either bad firmware (which you have ruled out by updating your fw) or a bad switch that somehow got through QC. If you want help finding a software fix, the best help you can find will probably be with Corsair Support.
