H110i GT and RM750i corsair link connections

Hi everyone. I just bought a H110i GT and RM750i. I would like to use CorsairLink, but after installation, I realized that I only have 1 spare USB header, since my case is already using one. I have a Gigabyte Z170X-UD5 motherboard.

Is there a device for corsair link to work with the usb mini ports for multiple devices?

If I have to resort to it, why are there 5 wires going into the header when USB uses 4? I'm thinking of combining the two cables into the same motherboard header.

Another option is I have 2 USB3.0 headers on the motherboard. I would prefer not to get into adapters, but is it possible to swap out the USB 2.0 port on the 750D with USB 3.0 ports? That would effectively give me both front headers, and would be nice to have 4 USB 3.0 ports on the front.

Thanks! I take it that you just put pin 9 in where it's blank and didn't try to combine it with pin 10. Would this be correct?

That is what I did so if needed I could easily revert to having two headers.

Please can you tell me the USB PID of your Corsair RM750i? You can find it in the Device Manager properties details. It will start USB\VID_1B1C&PID_ and the next 4 characters are the PID.
