CMC_SAVAGE
What Revision is your board? Also what BIOS version are you using? You could try to up the Dimm voltage to 2.9, no further.
ulath666
When i check with sisoft sandra i get Rev 1.XX on the motherboard bios 1006 SiSoftware Sandra: General Information Manufacturer : Phoenix Technologies, LTD Version : ASUS A7N8X2.0 ACPI BIOS Rev 1006 Date : 08/19/2003 Plug & Play Version : 1.00 SMBIOS/DMI Version : 2.20 (EE)PROM Size : 256kB (2Mbit)
CMC_SAVAGE
Sorry I did'nt look at your specs hard enough. If it's a Rev 2.0 with a 1006 BIOS, I don't see a problem there. You could try to up the Dimm voltage like I said to 2.9.
ulath666
vel its says A7N8X2.0 so my guess would be rev 2.0 Also i 2.8 is the highest Voltage setting on my board. got 2.6, 2.7, 2.8 i saw one thing now, the FSB says 200.45 on WCPUID and the same thing on sisoft sandra. Could that cause this? *edit* Um when i lowered the FSB to 199 everything works perfectly... Have been playing HL 2 for 40 minutes witout a problem now
CMC_SAVAGE
Could have been the problem. Your CPU has only a 333 FSB. It could have been caused by the OC. If your system is stable at 199, I'd leave it there.
