optomos
I have a stick of bad ddr ram that I need replaced. I was having random memory errors while using any type of software, ex. I would use IE or Microsoft Word and it would crash or close on me, or I would get the Dr. Watson postmordem debuger over and over again:rant: I ran a memory test app and it found an error in one of the memory sticks. I have 2 sticks of ram so I removed both and put one back in and ran my system to see if it would have the same issues. If I didnt, I removed it and placed the other stick and tried that one untill I found which one created the issue. My system specs are: soyo k7v dragon plus - bios up to date and all settings on default amd tbird 1.2G 266fsb ati 9600 antec 450 psu the bad stick of ddr ram is a corsair pc-2100 (cm64sd256-2100/y) 50-00107 Rev A1
