Wired
Are you underclocking your FSB when doing this? That CPU has a FSB of 400 Mhz, well over the limit of that memory. The only way to get them to work together would be to lower the FSB of the CPU to 266 Mhz.
micod2000
Yes, In order to test my modules i set the DRAM freq to 266 Mhz and the system does not post ( while the FSB is set to 400 Mhz ). Before that i had an ASUS A7V266-E with a VIA KT266A chipset and the problem was the same so i request a RMA ! Please note that for this problem you validated a RMA for me in the past but i did not send you back the modules because i was short of money for the shipping cost from FRANCE to USA ... now it's OK ! I'm waiting ...
Wired
... while the FSB is set to 400 Mhz ... Set it to 266 Mhz, then re-test it, as testing it with the FSB @ 400 Mhz can cause errors on a perfectly good stick because they are not in sync. micod2000
Dear WIRED, Like i said in my previous post, the problem was here on an old ASUS A7V266-E with 266 Mhz FSB !!! Forget my MSI board and consider the problem on the ASUS board !!! When i contacted you at this period you issued a RMA number for this problem but i was short of money for international shipping ... now the modules are still bad ( i don't remember the amount of errors in a run of memtest86 but there were many ! ) so please issue a new RMA number for me and it will be OK ...
