Bluedog
It's the XMS 1024 3200C2PT rev. 4 @ 2-3-3-6 vs the XMS 1024 3200C2 rev 1.4 @ 2-3-3-6. The PT RAM shows the SPD being 3-3-3-8 [200MHz] yet the older RAM being 2.5-3-3-7 [200 MHz]. So what's the difference between the two RAM's since both are sold as being 2-3-3-6? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 8, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 8, 2004 Just different IC's; Memory is changing and IC makers will try to optimize their production, and when they do it will sometimes change the characteristics of the IC, this a new revision. Or if one particular IC is in short supply we may use another makers IC to build a specific part. That is another reason it's best to get the memory that you plan on using, as it is not always up to us.
