plaid311
I currently HAVE two sticks of 2.5 latency VSDRR400 - PC3200 RAM on an 865PE Neo2 Board, and just ordered two more sticks of what I THINK was 2.5. If they end up being 3.0, will they still form a Gig of RAM that will work? A simple yes or no answer would be wonderful. Thank You in Advance, Brandon
CandyKid
I'm really sorry, but this is not a simple yes/no question. See, it might work and it might not, adding/mixing/matching memory types, speeds, and revisions isn't usually a good idea, but it can work. Make sure you pair the modules in 1 / 3 and 2 / 4 and run the DDR Voltage at 2.7 or 2.75 volts. If they won't run at 2.5-3-3-8, try 3-4-4-8 and see if that helps. Really, I can't say yes/no for you, sorry. PLUR CK
