kikikikopa
I've got a stick of CMX512-3200C2PT that is failing the Erand portion of the Windows memory test. I suspect it is the cause of the frequent system crashes that I've been experiencing. Would like to exchange it for a good stick or welcome suggestions as to a fix for this problem. Thank you. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 6, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 6, 2004 Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.75 Volts and then test with http://www.memtest.org. If you still get errors, then please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! kikikikopa
I did what you advised and ran the memtest ver 1.4. The suspect stick failed test number 5 - Block move, 64 moves. It appears to be defective. Should I keep the DIMM Voltage @ 2.75V when I get the replacement stick? Thank you. Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.75 Volts and then test with http://www.memtest.org.
