mago1626861508
I'm having problems with my RAM. I checked every possible problem with the MoBo, case PSU, temperature, OS, but my computer continously crashes. My Specs: MSI K8T FSR MoBo (FSB: 200 Mhz x 10.0) (Bios ver:1.40) 2 x Seagate 7200 rpm HD (40 & 80 Gb) Ati radeon 9600se Video Card M-Audio Audiophile 2496 Audio card 2xAXIO fans 2x512 Mb value select Corsair modules Omega case (450W) Everything has the latest drivers Nothing is overclocked I ran memtest without any errors the last time with 2.5-3-3-7, but it still crashes. I didn´t try prime95 2.38, with 2.37 didn`t passed the test. I read that it's possible that the best timing for the ram is 2.5-3-3-11. Is that Right? Please help, this is getting scarry unstable  mago

Wired
Try 3-4-4-8. If no go, test one stick at a time in each slot.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 6, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 6, 2004 Also please make sure you ahe the modules in slots 1-3 or 2-3 and set the Voltage to 2.7 Volts and see if that does not solve the problem.
mago1626861508
Now is rock solid stable. Thanks wired. Ram guy, the sticks are in slots 1-3, and the voltage, I'm not sure, (3-4-4-8, 3 volts?) but I think theres no 2.7v on my MoBo...Did I missed something? Wired
It may be something like 2.75 or 2.8, but if it's stable, no worries!
