dejo
I have a set of Corsair twinx4000 memory that will spit errors on memtest at 250fsb. The mobo is an Asus P4P800 with a 2.6P4 proc. All timings are set to 3-4-4-8 at 2.85 volts and turbo is enabled. It will loop memtest at 265fsb if I back the memory to 320 in bios so I dont think it is a cpu issue. Any ideas would be helpful, also if I may need an rma. By the way it is a 2x256meg pair and around 2 months old.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 6, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 6, 2004 Please set the performance mode to AUTO and set the Dim Voltage to 2.85 Volts and test the system again. But if you set the Performance mode to Turbo it will set the timings out of range for these modules and may indeed generate errors.
